Song Configuration Settings related to the song playback.

Key Transposes the song's pitch. +1 raises by one semitone, -1 lowers it. Use this to fit the song to your vocal range. Note: Changing the key for the first time will trigger a processing step that may take a minute; subsequent loads will be instant.

Reference Shift Adjusts the reference (the gray line) to match your voice. This only shifts the reference line visually.

Recording Mix Adjusts volume levels for your recording. 'Mic' is your voice, 'Vocals' is the original singer, 'Backing' is the instrumental. Mix these to create the perfect balance for your cover.

Algorithms Select the pitch detection algorithm that works best for your voice. 'YIN' is standard. Best results come from using headphones (to isolate your microphone) and singing directly into it in a quiet room. The 'Threshold' slider controls sensitivity: lower values detect soft notes but capture more noise.

View Configuration Controls the visible time range of the graph. Smaller values (e.g. 4s) show more detail, larger values (e.g. 10s) let you see upcoming notes sooner.

Window Width sec

Accuracy Shows how close you are to the correct notes. If you sing in a different octave (like a man following a female singer's notes in a lower range) it still counts as a hit, as long as you hit the right notes in the scale! Stay within 1 semitone of the target to score points.

0 ct

Shows the musical note you are currently singing and how precisely you are hitting it. 'ct' stands for cents; 0 means you are perfectly in tune. If the note turns solid black, you've nailed it!

Monitor Mix Controls what you hear in your headphones while singing. This does NOT affect the recording. Turn up 'Vocals' to hear the original guide melody.
